Following on from the Body Map Paintings, Sam continued a similar process though here with coloured lard. These sculptures are more relevant to Sam's internal state, and will always be destroyed or manipulated further to highlight the work's ephemerality.

Recycling a previous piece of work then taking it to a new level, the piece demonstrates how feelings are also reused in different instances.

A performance piece in three parts, narrating the process of taking on and then finally releasing oneself of negative feelings.

By feeling the body with one hand and painting with the other hand, Sam externalises her internal state through the use of painting. This painting is one of many 'Body Maps'. They are also specific to the present moment at which Sam painted the piece, therefor they can act as a visual diary.
